Our Meals on Wheels program delivers hot noon meals to residents within the Columbia city limits who are 65 and older, living with a disability, or recovering from a recent hospital stay. Clients may also opt to receive supplemental dinner and weekend meals. To sign up, simply fill out our online form- prospective client page here or reach out to our office—we’re here to help.
For our current clients, please use this page as a resource and let us know if there is anything we can do to help. We value our clients, and we want you to have the best experience possible.
You will get the meal(s) you signed up to receive; a white styrofoam cooler; and some paperwork from the office to return at your earliest convenience.
Please call our office, and we will be happy to help you. You can also email us at mowheels@gmail.com ..
Please leave your white styrofoam cooler out if you will be returning the same day. In the summer, please use an ice pack to keep your food safe.
Please call the office at 573-886-7554 and we will be happy to adjust your calendar until you return.

Yes, we will. We will post a cancellation on our social media, on local radio and television stations. Each November, we will be handing out “Blizzard Bags” to active clients provided by Rock Bridge Elementary. These shelf ready foods can be used in case we can’t deliver.
Customer service is a high priority of ours. You may call us at any time at 573-886-7554 to give us feedback. In addition, each December, we also send out a survey to clients to give feedback.
We bill on the following month after service. For example, if you had meals delivered in July, on August 1st we will calculate the number of meals you have received in July and will bill you after August 2nd. If you can’t pay your bill, please call us and let us know your circumstances – we may be able to help you by lowering your rate. If after numerous attempts to contact you about your bill, we will have to pause your service if we do not hear from you or get payment. We will send a letter first to let you know.
We survey our clients every year to make sure we’re doing our job in a satisfactory way. Here’s some of this past year’s feedback:
100% said they would recommend Meals on Wheels to a friend.
97% said they would rate our program as being excellent.
100% said they Meals on Wheels has helped improve or maintain their nutritional intake.
